The Seiler 3D system was designed to give a “head up” image to improve the posture and ergonomics of dentists as they work. Dentists very often develop neck and back injuries due to an unhealthy, unbalanced
posture associated with operative dentistry. Neck and back injuries lead 60% of dentists, surveyed by the ADA, to report that they are “practicing in pain.” Ultimately the injuries associated with poor work posture can later lead to short term or even long term, career ending, disability.
